I’ve always been fascinated by markets and economics – both the macro and the micro – from new products and services to distribution to brand building to product psychology to leveraging technology for growth.
As a partner in the Edmundson Group, I’m able to share my experiences and knowledge with the leaders of private, mid-market companies by designing and implementing modern marketing strategies for today’s digital marketplace. In addition to my consulting work here, I serve as the CEO and co-founder of Qlutch Marketing, Inc., and Partner, Growth at Venture51.
I’ve consciously spent the first 25 years of my career developing my experience as entrepreneur, analyst, marketer, technologist and operations executive.
As an entrepreneur, I’ve has been a co-founder of 3 companies, including and Medelis, an oncology drug development services company which I co-founded, helped grow and as a board member, helped guide to a successful exit in 2016, and Qlutch Marketing, Inc., whose marketing education digital offerings at qlutch.com and marketingmo.com are used by over 50,000 marketers worldwide.
My work at Venture51, an early-stage venture capital firm, allows me to constantly evaluate new technologies, growth trends, emerging markets and customer acquisition tactics. I provide market analysis, strategic review and product/market fit evaluation to Venture51 partners.
As a strategic marketer, I’ve designed positioning and brand strategies for more than 100 companies; co-founded and developed qlutch.com and the comprehensive Strategic Marketing Course available at MarketingMO.com; authored or co-authored 3 business books with a focus on marketing; achieved #1 rankings in Google for competitive non-branded search terms; designed, written or managed more than 300 multimedia B2B marketing campaigns; and designed, launched and managed numerous successful content marketing programs.
I’ve definitely taken a non-traditional route throughout my career, but I find it immensely challenging and rewarding and enjoy allocating time to work hands-on with other entrepreneurs and executives.
